Who is Laurentide?
Laurentide Financial Services Pty Limited was incorporated in July 1988, representing the union of three finance brokers with a total of 30 years experience in the finance industry, specialising in motor vehicle and equipment finance.
Laurentide now has seven directors and is one of the largest finance brokerage firms in Australia. Despite our growth, personal service has always been our priority. So much so that when you deal with Laurentide your transaction is always personally overseen by a director.
Laurentide is a fully integrated finance brokerage firm, offering a complete range of finance products for both businesses and consumers. Our clients range from individuals and sole traders to large companies and government departments.
Laurentide hold accreditation with most financiers in the Australian market including principal and agency agreements with three of Australia's biggest banks. This, along with the volume of business we introduce to our funders, results in cheaper rates for our clients and enables us to assist with the most complex transactions.
Laurentide also has a separate mortgage division, Laurentide Mortgage Solutions, to offer clients Residential and Commercial Mortgage facilities.
We believe this places us at the leading edge of our industry and we are confident that we can provide a professional service to your business.
Laurentide Financial Services are members of the Australian Equipment Finance Association and the Australian Finance Brokers Association.
Who are the Directors?
Roger Vincent
Director since 1988. Previously an independent Finance Broker for 8 years and, prior to that, Company Secretary of Aquila Steel Co Ltd and its subsidiaries for 10 years.
Roger Squire
Director since 1988. Involved in Finance Brokerage since 1979 as director/shareholder prior to establishing Laurentide in 1988.
Kevin Wickenden
Director since 1989. Previously employed by Leasco Australia Pty Ltd since 1977 as Sales Manager. Specialised in Motor Vehicle Leasing, Rental & Hire Purchase.
William Coote
Director since 1992. Previously involved in banking and finance broking for over 30 years.
Colin Finkelde
Director since 1997. Previously employed by Colonial State Bank for 2 years as a Senior Manager and, prior to that, by Barclays Bank for 9 years as State Manager.
Sam Wheeler
Director since 2004. Previously principal of Wheeler Leasing Pty Ltd for 11 years. Former state councillor of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia, current member of the Mortgage Industry Association of Australia.
Tony Cook
Director since 2005. Previously General Manager of one of the largest wholesale brokerage firms in Australia. Over 20 years' finance broking experience.
